2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Suspension Upgrades
Tons of research and development have gone into making the new 2024 Land Cruiser's suspension more resistant to bigger bumps and obstacles. It’s got a brand-new suspension leading the way, complete with a double-wishbone front suspension and trailing-link rigid-axle rear suspension – also, the Land Cruiser will unveil Toyota’s patented Adaptive Suspension system for the very first time. This AVS system allows each corner of the vehicle to handle damping and shock functions individually, making for a smoother ride on pavement and trails.
Also new to the 2024 Land Cruiser is a Limited Slip Differential system, which, combined with the rest of the suspension upgrades new to the model, can offer a stellar ride quality no matter the situation.
2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Engine and Drivetrain Upgrades
Of course, a new suspension kit is great, but the powertrain needs to work up to snuff at the same time. That’s not a problem on the 2024 Land Cruiser, which offers a four-cylinder hybrid turbo engine that’s capable of producing 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque.
Harnessing the power is a Direct-Shift 10AT automatic transmission, which offers 10 speeds to work with so you get maximum power and torque at lower gears – it's clear here that Toyota has put its full effort into making a vehicle that’s not only great to drive on the road, but a clear-cut contender off it as well.
