Introduction

The Toyota Sequoia was unveiled for its second generation as the 2008 model year got underway, and for nearly 15 years it was a mainstay of the brand's lineup, slotting in nicely as a full-size SUV that promised maximum functionality and visual appeal. Even today, the second-gen Sequoia is a favorite among many drivers, mainly for its versatility, but also because it's more than capable of taking you off-road on the weekend as well.

If you have a 2008-22 Sequoia at home and you want to see what fits it best for your next adventure, you're in the right place - check out our wheel and tire fitment guide for the second-gen Toyota Sequoia today with TrailBuilt Off-Road!

Second-Generation Toyota Sequoia Stock Fitment Specs & Recommendation

Off the lot, the second-generation Sequoia boasted some of the largest wheel and tire combos on the market. At its smallest base trims, the Sequoia came with stock 18x8 wheels and a set of 275/65R18 tires - that's a 32-inch tall, 11-inch wide stock tire size. The '08-'22 Sequoia also had a 5x150mm (5x5.9 in.) bolt pattern, one of the most unique in the industry - it shared this with only the Tundra, Land Cruiser, and Lexus LX.

Most of the second-gen Sequoia builds we see in our gallery will come with tires sized up quite a bit, with 35s in many cases. You can stick with 17-20 inch diameter wheels as well, although 22x9 sizes were also offered for larger, stronger models - just make sure that you pair your Sequoia with a leveling kit or small lift kit to maximize ground clearance and minimize rubbing issues.
