Stock Wheel & Tire Fitment on the First Generation (1997-2002) Ford Expedition
The standard tire size for the original Expedition came in as either a 255/70R16 or a 265/70R17 with a bolt pattern of 6x135mm, so you’ll want to make sure any wheels that you’re looking to put on your Expedition are compatible with this size. As for wheels, the usual fitment for a First Generation are a 16x7 and a 17x7.5. We’ve seen rigs sporting lift kits anywhere between 3-5” and are perfect fit for a 35 inch tire featuring a 17x9 wheel.
