The most recent generation of the Chevy Silverado 1500 (produced from 2019-2024) brings all the current technology and safety features to a powerful pickup with great tow ratings and fuel efficiency. It sports a roomier cab with improved internal storage and is much lighter than previous versions thanks to a body mixture that’s both steel and aluminum. The fourth gen has both a diesel and V8 option that comes with a 10-speed transmission for even faster gear shifting and acceleration than the third generation Silverado.

Stock Wheel & Tire Fitment on the Fourth Generation (2019-2024) Chevy Silverado 1500

Available stock sizing for tires and wheels for the fourth generation Silverado came in a few different options. Tires were available in 255/70, 265/70, and 265/65 sizes while wheels were available in 17x8 or 18x8.5 options. The Silverado came with a bolt pattern of 6x5.5, so you’ll want to make sure that any wheel you want to use on your build fits that pattern, otherwise you’ll have to make sure you have an adapter to get it to fit properly.

Our gallery features a lot of Silverado 1500s that are built for off-roading, using wheels with sizes falling in the 17-20” range in diameter used in combination with tires between 33-37” in height and a suspension somewhere between 4-6” in height. When rocking a taller suspension on your build, be sure to keep suspension geometry in mind. If that’s not properly balanced, your suspension can be at risk for massive damage.
