About The Toyo Tires Open Country A/T III
Who Is Toyo Tires?
Toyo Tires' story starts back in 1966 when they got their start in Japan but always churning out top-tier tires for the whole world. As they grew, they expanded into the United States where they now have a factory in Georgia and are based in California.
What Makes the Open Country AT III So Special?
The Toyo Open Country AT III is an all-terrain tire meaning it's suitable for daily driving as well as some mild off-roading here and there. However, when you look at the AT III, this is very aggressive for an all-terrain so if you're going for a sharp look, on top of all of that, this is a fire option.
The tread pattern doesn't have a ton of space between tread blocks, making for a nice, comfortable, and quiet ride. The design also features lots of siping, so when you drive in wet or snowy conditions you will grip much better.
What Sizes Does The Toyo Open Country AT III Come In?
The Toyo Open Country AT III has a ton of tire sizes to fit a wide variety of applications. Sizing starts at a 30" and goes all the way to 37" in height and widths from 9.5" to 13.5" so you can see there is a wide spectrum here. Not sure what will fit? Check out our gallery to see what others are running or build your own aftermarket wheel and tire package to find the right size tires to fit your truck build.
How Much Does The Toyo Open Country AT III Cost?
Pricing for the Toyo Open Country AT III starts at just over $600 and ranges to just under $2000 all depending on the size of course. So there is an option for almost any budget.
Some great features of the Toyo Open Country AT III:
- Advanced Tread Compound to prevent cuts and chipping
- Evenly distributed voids are for increased rigidity and off-road traction
- Large amount of lateral grooves to improve traction in sand, mud, and snow
- Staggered Shoulder Lugs with biting edges to tackle tough terrain

Tires have the look you want in an aggressive tire, but still provide the ride you would expect from such an expensive tire. Finally something that is actually worth the money.

I have put so far around 400 miles on those tyres and everything is going well so far. Off-road the tyres performed without any issues and presented adequate grip!

I paired a set of these with some Fuel Coverts (left a review on that product too), and my truck went from good looking to head turning. I was actually going to buy a different set of tires but the customer service rep convinced me to go with these, citing the fact that they run Toyos on everything they own. These folks have a passion for what they do, and I didn’t want that to go unnoticed

This tire is definitely worth the investment and besides looking awesome it is very quiet with only a slight hum over 70 mph

A great running tire. Absolutely aggressive enough. Just remember that this is a small 35"x12.5R20 tire, compared to some 35" tires. Every tire has their own "true size", and this tire is just on the smaller side. I went from a 35"x12.5"R20 NITTO Ridge Grappler, and those are much wider & taller than these. I would probably have gone with a metric size up, if In had known just how much smaller they would be. Still a great tire. These are much better in the rain. My Ridge Grapplers were HORRIBLE in the rain.

I absolutely love these tires! They have a aggressive look and are super quite compared to my old tires. They're very smooth on the road as well. I highly recommend these tires on any wheel set up!

These tires give my truck the perfect aggressive look I was going for! They ride just as smooth as the factory tires which I was worried about at first. Overall I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend these tires if you want a more aggressive AT tire.

Really like the look of the at3 tires. Really quiet at all speeds, not driven alot of miles yet but if they hold up like the at2 tires do this will be an excellent tire

They don't stand up to gravel at all. Had the AT2s in the past and they did great with gravel. I have 20k miles on mine and they are trashed, with no edges on any of the tread blocks. If you do all highway you'll be fine. They are great on snow and ice and clean out good in mud. Just cant handle gravel
