Look, we get it. Money doesn't grow on trees. But why should that stop you from being able to trudge through some of the toughest trails? Just because you're on a budget doesn't mean that you should have to sacrifice what you love to do. Today, we'll take a look at some of the best mud tires you can get for under $1000! 1. Federal Couragia MT 33x12.5 GET THE COURAGIA HERE First is a tire that needs no introduction. The Federal Couragia MT has been making waves in the mud tire scene lately and for good reason. It's hard to beat the performance bargain you get with these tires. So, like most mud tires, the Couragia has very large tread blocks. This helps remove any rocks or other debris that might get stuck in the tread. The Couragia does a great job removing these things especially because Federal has designed this tire with void treads that are placed between the tread blocks. This helps remove excess dirt and mud. The inner tread blocks have a few sharp, cutting design which allows the Couragia to dig into rocks when climbing or dirt/snow when you need the traction. This will help you maintain momentum. The outer tread blocks are claw-shaped to make sure that they can continuously grab the terrain below them. These tires allow you to off-road with confidence in a wide variety of situations from rock crawling to mud bogging, the Couragia is designed to be a great all-around mud tire! One thing we do want to mention is just how much space there is between the tread blocks. While this is great for terrain ejection, it also makes the tire a bit louder than average. Atturo Trail Blade MT 33x10.5 GET THE TRAIL BLADE MT HERE The Atturo Trail Blade MT is one of the most solid and most affordable mud tires on the market today. For those who don't know, the Atturo Tire lineup comprises off-road rig tires. The MT is their second most aggressive tire in their lineup. They are 35" by 12.25" R20 tires. They've got large shoulder blocks and a wide center section that provides good evacuation in all terrains. The sidewall is as aggressive as you'd expect in a mud tire. The Atturo Trail Blade MT costs a little over $1,000. The tire is Load Range E with a 121 load index, the standard for mud tires. There's no mileage warranty, but a manufacturer warranty will cover factory flaws. The Atturo Trail Blade MT is one of the best mud tires on the market and definitely one of the cheapest. See more Atturo Trail Blade MT photos here! 3. Comforser CF3000 32x11.5 GET THE CF3000 HERE The Comforser CF3000 is a mud tire that looks pretty aggressive but behaves pretty well on pavement. If you're looking for a nice, quieter ride but want the off-road performance of a mud tire, the CF3000 offers both for a pretty low price. We've heard a ton of great reviews on this tire especially when it comes to tread life. For the money, the Comforser CF3000 offers a ton of performance and reliability while maintaining a relatively quiet ride. This is definitely the underdog on this list but deserves a spot! See more Comforser CF3000 photos here! 4. Kanati Mud Hog 33x12.5 GET THE MUD HOG HERE We love this tire because of its sleek design and great performance. The sidewall has a great design that looks very aggressive. The tread is very angular and there are large tread voids so water and mud won't get held in the tire. The Kanati Mud Hog has been all the hype lately thanks to its sharp looks, great performance, and low cost for a mud tire. Picking up a set of Kanati Mud Hogs will run about $800. RBP Repulsor MT 285/65 GET THE REPULSOR HERE Styling-wise on this one you're gonna see it's a lot more of a directional pattern where everything is kind of angled towards the center in a v-shape. Again huge shoulder blocks with lots of gaps here and then the same kind of similar styling as the Atturo. As far as the center goes still lots of good separation so if you're running these through anything deep you can definitely make it out just fine. As far as sidewall goes on the RBP Repulsor MT, we'll give you a look at that this is a much more like Baja and style inspired look I would say with a very straight cut sidewall so you can see still plenty of shoulder block in the sidewall tread as well so it still keeps a nice aggressive look.
