2017-2024 Nissan Titan Wheel, Tire & Suspension Fitment Guide
The second generation Nissan Titan was aimed at improving on some of the criticisms of the first gen, while also better competing with the more well-known full-size pickup brands like the F-150 and Silverado 1500. This version of the Titan featured more trim levels than the previous iteration and offered improved durability and capability than the first Titan line. However, the second generation is also the last generation as Nissan announced in 2024 that they are no longer producing the Titan due to not being able to keep up with the more established pickup rivals mentioned above.
Regardless of being discontinued after 2024, the second generation Titan is a quality pickup option that would make a very capable off-roader for new and dedicated enthusiasts alike. This Fitment Guide will go through what wheels and tires would best fit a Nissan Titan in order to turn it into the perfect off-roading machine as well as show some examples from our gallery of what your Titan would look like with the right wheels, tires and suspension options. Let’s take a look!
Stock Wheel & Tire Fitment On The Second Generation (2017-2024) Nissan Titan
When it comes to stock tire and wheel sizes for the Nissan Titan, there are a few options. Tire sizing came in either a 265/70 or 275/60 size, while wheels were available in either a 18x8 or 20x8 size. The bolt pattern for a second generation Nissan Titan is a 6x5.5 pattern, which is important to keep in mind when choosing the right set of wheels. You want to make sure any wheel you select for your Titan fits that specific pattern, otherwise in order to get the right fit you’re going to have to use an adapter.
If you look at second gen Titans in our gallery, you'll notice that they feature either 18 or 20” wheels with tires that are sized starting around 33” in height and upwards. This is to maximize ground clearance on the trails for the best off-road performance possible. Combine that with a lift kit of 3” or higher and you’ll be ready to take your Titan out to see what it can do. An important callout for suspensions however is that when using a higher lift kit, remember to keep your truck’s suspension geometry in mind. If this isn’t properly aligned, your rig can suffer massive damage during use.
